Journey to the royal town

Today we started as early as 6.30 am. We drove down the winding road from Beruas to Kuala Kangsar. The road was busy with pupils going to school. We had to be careful! As we drove on our stomach made a lot of noises. At last we reached safely in Kuala Kangsar and we went straight to SMK Raja Perempuan Kelsom. The first person we met was Jedd but he looks sick.
He worked very hard the last three months. Then we set up our booth. When everything is ready we went straight to the canteen to fill our stomach. The food here was delicious.....yummy! Now we are waiting for the Sultan.

Today six of our SKSB teachers took off to SMK Raja Permaisuri Kalsom in Kuala Kangsar. We left at six o'clockin the morning from Manjung to Kuala Kangsar. Finally we reached the school before 8a.m. Today at 11.00 a.m., the Sultan's Perak will come to SMK RPK to visit our KPEC programme. We are looking forward to meet the Sultan.
Jedd was wearing the "songkok" while presented the KPEC's CD to our headmaster. I think he look really smart with the "songkok". Do you agree?

Our School has a well sound-proof music room. But throughout the years, it was in messy and untidy. Last month, our SKSB music commitee took an action to clean up the room and decorated it. The members started to sweep and mop the room. The pupils gave a big help too by moving in some racks and arrange the music instruments on the racks. A notice board had set up to display some useful information about music. I know it does not look much pretty but at least it look good in condition.

This morning, three lady teachers were seen busy sewing some cloths at the open hall beside the administrative block. When i noticed, than i realized they were preparing the costumes for "Boria" competition in this coming Saturday. For foreign visitors, "Boria" means Penang Malay folk ( tradisional ) songs and dances.
In the picture below, I have Cikgu Zaliha posing with the ready-made custome for Boria competition. Let's wish the SKSB Boria Team the best of luck.

This few days, i felt frustrated because i missed the chance to capture some incidents that happened in my school. This was because my camera stopped operating normally since yesterday. First, i thought may be the battery was not sufficiently charged. But after all, i found out the battery could not be discharged. Today i am going to bring my camera to the shop for repair. I hope it will function properly by tomorrow.
